About

With Santi Studio is a mother–son collaborative art practice based in Brooklyn, New York.

Two weeks before Santi was born, we built a wall through the middle of our apartment. As soon as he could sit up, we started creating there together. Over time that wall became our art studio.

Paint markers, watercolors, stickers and mixed materials move freely between us as we work. We climb stools to reach the corners, layering color over time and returning to the work as it evolves. Music plays loud while the paintings take shape, sometimes over days, sometimes weeks.

The work is made through an open-ended process of play, guided by curiosity and movement. Working this way embraces scale, mess and hands-on presence, with no attachment to outcome. It's instinctive, spontaneous and completely our own. It allows us to be fully ourselves, something I want Santi to know is both the coolest and most courageous thing you can do. Together we capture fleeting moments of early childhood creativity in real time. Creating with Santi reminds me that art is meant to be alive and bold.

When I stepped back, I realized we had created a body of work. A living archive of shared growth.

Every work is a one-of-one original.

With Santi Studio exists to celebrate creativity in its earliest and most honest form — play.

All proceeds from the work contribute to Santi’s 529 education fund, for his future creative life.
